Banana Pancake

We get a lot on inspiration for food from the music we hear. This morning, was listening to Jack Johnson’s album In Between Dreams. One of the tracks of the album is Banana Pancakes. This is a very lazy romantic song in which a guy wants to make banana pancakes for his beloved. Hope you get to make these for your love on a lazy weekend 🙂

Oil

2 table spoon

½ tea spoon

I use Vegetable oil.

Honey

½ tea spoon

  1. Using a hand blender, mix all the ingredients together into a thick batter.
  2. Heat the tawa and spread around ½ tea spoon of oil
  3. Switch to low flame
  4. Pour ¼ cup of the batter on the tawa.
  5. Heat for approx 60 seconds and flip using a very thin spatula.
  6. Ensure both sides are golden brown.

Serve hot. Smear some honey

Notes –

  1. Keep the pancake small. It will cooker faster and will be easier to flip.
  2. Ensure you don’t spread a lot of oil on the tawa. Very minimum oil has to be used.
  3. Use a thin spatula for flipping.
  4. If you don’t have a hand blender, then mix all the dry and the wet in two separate bowls. Then whisk for approx 3 to 4 minutes to ensure there are no lumps.
