Matar Patta Gobi

 

This quick and easy to cook dish will work fantastic as a side dish or a main with Roti.

 

Cabbage

Patta Gobi

½ cup

Chopped

Peas

 

¾ cup

 

Oil

 

2 table spoons

 

Cumin Seeds

 

1/3 tea spoon

 

Tomato

 

2

 

Ginger

 

½ inch

 

Turmeric Powder

 

½ tea spoon

 

Red Chilli Powder

 

½ tea spoon

 

Coriander Powder

 

½ tea spoon

 

Salt

 

½ tea spoon

 

Dry Fenugreek

Kasuri Methi

   

 

  1. In a blender, blend the tomato and Ginger
  2. In a kadai, heat up the oil
  3. Add the cumin seeds and let it crackle for a few seconds.
  4. Add the peas and stir fry it for around a minute
  5. Add the cabbage and stir fry for around 2 minutes
  6. Add the blended tomato and ginger paste.
  7. Add the Turmeric powder, Red Chilli Powder, Corainder Powder, Salt and Kasuri Methi
  8. Stir fry for around 3 to 4 minutes.

Enjoy with Roti or as a side dish.
